I have always had a passion for birds.

I began rescuing unwanted, mistreated, needy birds. 

The more birds I took in, the more toys I needed. With medical bills for some, feed, and supplies, toys were just too expensive. I began making my own.

As I learned and my toys got better, I took some to a sanctuary run by friends. I donated toys to them so that I could begin to get them out there. A few pet stores in town also carried my toys.

The sale of the toys helped me to purchase other things the birds need.

Now, I no longer rescue on a large scale, but will take in a needy bird here and there.

The toys are still fun to make. My birds love them.
